Still National Still Life Award Finalist

Greetings from Korora Bay. I'm Peggy Zephyr, stepping into the spotlight as a second time finalist in the 2023 STILL National Still Life Award. This year is special, not just for my finalist position but also for my solo exhibition Please Walk On The Grass which opened the newly built Yarrila Place Gallery ( YAM ) Coffs Harbour.

My piece for STILL, Still Life In Green 1947-After Olley, is a tribute to Margaret Olley and an invitation for viewers to engage beyond the visual, to uncover a hidden narrative within. It's a blend of technique and introspection, a nod to both tradition and innovation.

Returning to STILL, after winning the People’s Choice award in 2021 Showing alongside fellow finalist BLAK Douglas.
